Our Story — Veteran-Owned Coffee Catering
Built on Service. Brewed with Purpose.
Built on Service. Brewed with Purpose.
The Roaring Bean was born from a conversation Rebecca and Eric didn't plan to have. They had always imagined building a refined coffee company alongside their daughter Charlotte one day — something down the road. But mid-sentence, the question shifted: why are we waiting? They could start building something extraordinary now, and when the time came, help Charlotte launch her own.
Their first decision was intentional. Instead of a trailer parked outside, they designed a mobile espresso bar built to stand inside the room where the celebration happens — beside the dance floor, beneath the chandeliers, in the space where the moments guests remember most actually unfold. The bar gave them versatility across weddings, ballrooms, corporate venues, and private estates — anywhere a trailer simply cannot go.
The name draws from the elegance and ambition of the 1920s, a decade defined by bold vision and refined taste. The lion at the center of their brand represents the Gold Standard they bring to every guest interaction and the roaring faith that drives everything they build. Having established the bar as a signature luxury experience, they are now completing their 1920s-inspired coffee bar trailer — bringing the same standard to even more settings.
The Navy and their faith shaped the values Rebecca and Eric carry into every event. Not that every guest is always right — but that every guest deserves to be heard. After years in the civilian world, they saw firsthand how genuine hospitality sets a business apart. Most companies talk about quality. Few deliver it in every interaction. That gap is where The Roaring Bean lives.
Eric carries a phrase from his years of service that has become the company's quiet standard: Do More Better. It is not a slogan — it is a discipline. It shows in how they source their beans, how their baristas present themselves, how they communicate with clients, and how they leave a venue after the last cup is poured. Every detail matters because every guest matters.
What Rebecca and Eric enjoy most is something no package can describe — watching a guest walk away with a smile and knowing they helped that person feel seen.
"Do More. Better. — it started in the Navy, and now it drives everything we build." — Eric, Co-Founder & Navy Veteran
Four commitments behind every cup we pour
Every drink is made from scratch — locally roasted, ethically sourced single-origin beans paired with handcrafted syrups containing zero cane sugar and no preservatives. The wow factor is in the cup. No shortcuts. Ever.
We built a bar, not a trailer, so we could be part of the celebration — not stationed outside it. Our vintage 1920s-inspired espresso bar is designed to stand beside the dance floor, in the ballroom, on the venue floor. Where the moments happen, we are there.
Customer service is what makes a business stand out as unique. We learned that in the Navy, and we see it proven at every event. We listen, we pay attention, and we make sure every guest walks away feeling seen.
A phrase Eric learned in the Navy that became the heartbeat of this company. It means never settling — pushing our sourcing, our service, our presentation, and our hospitality to keep reaching for luxury. Every cup, every event, every guest.
Most event coffee is forgettable. We decided that wasn't acceptable. The Roaring Bean's espresso program is built around The Gatsby Reserve — a seasonally rotating, single-origin bean sourced from the world's most refined growing regions. Each season brings a new origin, a new story, and a new flavor profile, so every event offers something genuinely rare. Our guests don't just taste coffee — they taste the best of what that season's harvest has to offer.
We pair those beans with handcrafted syrups made in-house — zero cane sugar, absolutely no preservatives. The reaction from guests is always the same: disbelief that something this clean can taste this extraordinary. That wow factor has become one of our defining signatures. Our guest reviews share that belief — and we intend to keep earning it.
Super cool! Not only was it some stellar coffee but the atmosphere and vibe of the whole place was awesome. Great conversation with the founders… definitely will be returning soon!!
HIGHLY Recommend: The Peach Cobbler Iced Latte at The Roaring Bean! The flavor is bold and genuinely tastes like a fresh cobbler — they absolutely nail the sweetness.
Owners are great! Super friendly! Great addition to any event!
Proud to have poured for some of the finest venues and events across Middle Tennessee
…and growing. Let's add your event to the list.
Our hope is that ten years from now, when you take a sip of a beautifully crafted cup of coffee, you are immediately swept back to a moment — the first dance at your wedding, the corporate Christmas party where you met your spouse, or the sidewalk gathering with your closest friends. You won't remember the espresso bar. You'll remember how you felt. And we'll know we were part of it.
